To strengthen licensed "food premises" supervision on food safety, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department started to implement the Hygiene Manager and Hygiene Supervisor Scheme from 30th May, 2005. This scheme requires all large food premises, and other food premises selling high-risk foods, to appoint authorized "Hygiene Managers and Hygiene Supervisors" to oversee the business, and that this is one of the conditions for the renewal of licenses.
BEST KEY CONSULTANTS has specifically designed this course to assist the training of hygiene managers. Successful candidates will be awarded a FEHD approved "Hygiene Manager" Certificate of Course Completion by the Food Safety and Technology Research Centre of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
